In addition, it is possible to adjust the amount of smoke generated using an integrated pump, which allows you to adjust the process to the requirements and capacity of the smoking chamber.
• The design of the smoke generator is based on solid stainless steel of excellent quality, which allows it to be used in a variety of weather conditions.
• The housing (located in a cylindrical container) uses a wooden lid that promotes optimal smoke flow, as well as protects the wood chips from moisture during the annealing process, preventing, for example, condensation of rain.
• To connect the pump to the smoke generating nozzle, a flexible hose with a length of 4 meters is used, which can be adapted to your needs, allowing you to connect these elements.
• A full charge of the generator allows continuous supply of smoke to the smokehouse for about 3-4 hours, without the need to add new chips.
• Using a generator, wood chips of different granulations can be used, however, it is recommended to use those with a size of 8-12 mm to achieve the best results of internal smoke.
• The innovative smoke generator nozzle is shorter than traditional models and has a double-sided slope. This allows better smoke flow to the smokehouse and protects the nozzle from possible blockage of wood chips.
• The nozzle is introduced into the smokehouse at the right angle, increasing the flow of smoke from hot chips.
• The nozzle passes only through part of the wood chips combustion chamber, which allows for effective smoke collection, while protecting it from blockage during the annealing process.
• Using an efficient pump placed on an elongated base generates vibrations transmitted to the body of the backfill chamber, which improves the even falling of wood chips during annealing and increases the efficiency of the smoking process.
• Precise setting of the amount of smoke produced allows you to avoid excessive acidification of products. The pump is connected through a hose to a special, integrated tube through which air is supplied.
• The tube also has a structural function - it enters the appropriate notch in the base, ensuring the perfect positioning of the nozzle relative to the smokehouse and generator body.
• The smoke generator design allows for easy and quick installation and removal, while also making the cleaning process easier.
• The device can be easily disassembled and cleaned, without the need to unscrew the base from the smokehouse and without the need for tools. Simply remove the nozzle from the generator body, rotate the backfill body, and separate it from the base with hooks and holes to fit them. This concept ensures tightness and stability of the body in the base. The lower holes in the generator body make it easier to ignite wood chips and ensure proper airflow.

The smoke generator works on smoking chips. Smoke created from incandescent wood chips enters through a special cut-out into the smoke pipe, from where, together with the air generated by the pump, it is forced into the smoking chamber. For the generator, it is best to use a mixture of wood chips with a size of 2 to 10 mm, preferably in a 50/50 ratio. This mixture ensures optimal operation of the generator. For best results, mix in equal proportions of 2 and 5 mm chips.

When using high-thickness wood chips, it is recommendedto reduce the flow of air, which will also reduce the wear of wood chips. The smoke generator also depends on weather conditions. With high winds, combustion in the generator occurs automatically, so it is required to set a lower air flow on the pump.

Cold smoking

It takes place at a temperature of 8 to 25ºC and causes the strongest drying of smoked meats, it also requires a lot of time. It should be carried out intermittently, in several phases. The first smoking phase usually lasts5-12 hours. Between the phases there is airing (approx. 5 hours), designed to bring fresh air. This causes additional drying of smoked meats, as well as the formation of an appropriate aroma. Depending on the product, the entire cold smoking process consists of 3 – 5 phases. This method is used for smoking raw sausages and raw products after curing (mainly dry). Products prepared in this way are durable, tasty and suitable for long-term storage. It should be remembered that this is done in a cool, darkened and airy place. Products should not come into contact with each other, they should also be protected from dust and light.

Warm smoking

In this way, primarily steamed and cooked products are smoked. It is smoking at a temperature of 24 to 60ºC. They move without interruptions through ok. 24 hours, therefore, in the smoking roomthe temperature must be maintained by an additional heating source (e.g. electric). The process of burning wood material alone is not enough to maintain appropriate thermal conditions.

The pump can also be used in aquaristics. It is ideal for aerating water aquariums.
