• Apply Delphi Tools ® foraminifera of the selected size to the drill. Apply the hole saw to the sponge to drill a hole in the sponge. The sponge will fit perfectly in the foraminifera. Soak the sponge so that absorbs water. This sponge will be your coolant.

BASIC PRINCIPLES WHEN DRILLING HOLES

Start drilling:

• Set the drill to low rotation speed.
• Apply the foraminifera to the marked place on the material at an angle of about 45°, starting from a small point of contact.
• Gently turn the foraminifera, maintaining constant pressure so that it begins to bite into the material.
• Gradually increase the contact of the foraminifera with the material by going to drilling at a right angle of 90°, while increasing the speed of the drill.

Cooling control:

• Regularly soak the sponge with water, to maintain proper cooling.
• If the foraminifera starts to overheat, stop drilling and let it cool by continuing to cool with a sponge.

Maximum working speed is 2 000 rpm.

Side vents should be thoroughly cleaned after each use and checked for their condition before each drilling
