The GL-2+ meter has undergone a facelift and has been updated software, making measurements even faster and even more accurate, and the menu more transparent. In addition, English was added. The meter also received a brand new measuring probe and a new high-quality improved housing. The power supply has been changed to 2x AAA alkaline battery.

The device is based on a modern, fast processor and new measurement algorithm.

The meter has a measuring head built into the device.

The distinguishing feature of the GL-2+ meter is the ability to measure on steel, galvanized steel and aluminum sheets. Measurement range (paint thickness): 0µm to 2000µm. Measurement resolution: 10µm.

He tells the evaluator whether he had tin and varnish repairs.

The meter has a zero function (calibration) – the zero plate is included.

From the MENU you can choose one of two languages: Polish or English.

2x R3 alkaline battery (AAA) "thin fingers".

Thanks to the use of modern design, this meter is very economical. Two so-called power supply is enough. "thin fingers" alkaline. The working time on such a battery reaches up to several hours of continuous operation.

There is a battery level indicator on the meter display. Thanks to the indicator, we will not be surprised by a discharged battery and we can replace it in advance.

The meter is operated from the 5-function main MENU, and navigation is done using a 2-button keyboard.

When the function is turned on, the meter signals with an LED about the condition of the flashing machine:

• the diode does not shine – the correct varnish;
• LED pulsates – the second layer of varnish;
• the diode shines continuously – putty or more layers of varnish.

It should be noted that the ASSISTANT function is only to help in the interpretation of measurements, it can not be the basis for an unambiguous answer to the question whether the car had tin and varnish repairs. Nevertheless, many people who evaluate cars do not really know what a given paint thickness means, which is why the above function is to help in this.
