A calibration certificate is a document issued by the manufacturer during the production process of a meter, confirming that it has obtained metrological properties and maintained measurement traceability. This is a document issued only for brand new measuring instruments.

The calibration certificate has a place to enter the date of commissioning, which is the date of sale of the meter. It is recommended to carry out the next metrological confirmation (calibration) within 12 months from the date of purchase, but no later than 24 months from the date of production.
