Carnosine is a dipeptide (beta-alanine plus histidine) that acts as a buffer for hydrogen ions produced during strenuous exercise, thus helping to maintain optimal muscle pH. NOW Sports uses CarnoSyn®, a patented form of beta-alanine that has been clinically tested and has been shown to increase the carnosine content in the muscles, allowing the muscles to work harder and longer during intense exercise. CarnoSyn® supplementation delays muscle fatigue and reduces recovery time, thus helping to achieve training goals in terms of strength and endurance.

WAY OF USE:

Take 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) 3 to 4 times a day. Mix with 240 ml of water. For best results, keep at least 2 hours between servings.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not exceed the recommended portion for consumption during the day. Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute (replacement) for a varied diet.

Only for adults. Beta-alanine can cause harmless, temporary tingling on the skin in some people. After a few weeks of beta-alanine supplementation, this feeling usually decreases or disappears. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, taking medication, or have medical conditions.
