The set is not suitable for a cut tire or side puncture, but only in places where there is a tread.
Instructions for use:
1. Remove the nail from where the tire was punctured and mark the spot.
2. Smear the cutter with the included glue and drive into the hole left after the nail according to the angle at which this nail entered the tire to fill the hole well with glue.
3. Thread the cord onto the awl and bend in half, tips up.
4. Smear the cord with glue and press with an awl the strung cord into the nail hole, according to the angle of previous penetration. With a firm motion, push the awl with the rope through the damaged area. Make sure that the cord goes through the entire layer of the tire. Be careful not to drag the entire rope inside. The two ends of the rope should stick out ok. 0,5 – 1cm above the tyre tread. Remove the awl from the tire with a firm motion (you should not spin the awl inside the tire when pulling it out – this may cause it to break).
5. Cut off the two protruding ends of the cord leaving 5 mm above the tire. While riding, the cord will align with the tread surface.
6. Remember that the cord goes through the entire layer of the tire.
