How to use

Measurement of temperature in the ear:

• After removing the measuring probe plug, the

  icon “Measurement of temperature in the ear” will appear on the display. Then gently insert the thermometer probe into the ear canal so that it does not cause discomfort.

• When the probe is in the ear canal, gently press the “Measurement button”. When the device emits sound, the measurement is completed. You can remove the thermometer and read the measurement result.

Temperature measurement on the forehead:

• The probe plug must be applied, when turned on, the “Temperature measurement on the forehead” icon will appear on the display. Please point the thermometer probe at the center of your forehead and gently touch your skin.
• Gently press the “Measurement button”. When the device emits sound, the measurement is completed and the measurement result can be read.

If the infrared thermometer emits a single sound, it means that the measurement is done correctly. If the measurement result is 37,5 °C or more, the thermometer will emit two sounds. If the measurement result is 38,6 °C or more, the thermometer will emit four sounds. Measurement readings will be displayed on the screen.

Destination

It is designed to measure the temperature on the forehead or in the ear canal of newborns, children and adults. We recommend that the measurement of body temperature in children be performed by adults.
