✴ Principle of operation
Any object whose temperature is higher than 0oC emits infrared radiation consistent with its temperature. Radiation and its division by wavelength is closely related to surface temperature. The wavelength that the human body emits (36-37oC) is 9-13um. Based on this principle, you can measure the temperature of the forehead and then place a reading between the forehead temperature and the current body temperature, thus obtaining the correct reading of body temperature. The thermometer uses high-quality German sensors.
