The Berrcom JXB-178 non-contact thermometer is a modern medical device that combines convenience, accuracy and precision when measuring temperature. Thanks to infrared radiation technology, the measurement is carried out in a completely hygienic and non-contact way – just point the device at the patient’s forehead from a distance of 3 to 5 cm, click the “Scan” button, and the result will appear on the display in one second. This solution is particularly valuable in the case of measurement in children, the elderly or the sick, as well as in doctor's offices, kindergartens, offices or sanitary control points. Three measurement modes and high precision

The JXB-178 offers three different operating modes – measuring body temperature, surface temperature and room temperature – making it a versatile tool for everyday use. The body measurement mode operates in the range of 32°C – 42,9°C with an accuracy of ±0,2°C for typical physiological values, making the result reliable and comparable to classic medical thermometers. The surface mode (0°C – 60°C) will work well when measuring the temperature of a baby’s bath, milk bottle or food, and the room mode (0°C – 40°C) will allow you to monitor the conditions in the child’s room or bedroom. The built-in audible alarm automatically alerts you when an elevated body temperature is detected, allowing you to react quickly in case of a fever.

Convenient operation and practical functions

The device is designed for maximum ease of use – a large, easy-to-read LCD display shows the measurement result in a clear way, and the ability to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit scale increases the versatility of the thermometer. The memory function records the last 32 measurements, allowing you to track temperature changes over time and monitor the course of the disease. The power-saving mode automatically turns off the device after 30 seconds of inactivity, so the batteries last for a very long time.
