APPLICATION OF BASALT MEAL
==========================================
1. Improves Soil Structure
Adding basalt meal to the soil improves its structure, making it more conducive to plant growth. The soil retains water without becoming waterlogged and is more attractive to earthworms.
Adding basalt meal is especially recommended for dry, sandy soil that tends to lose water quickly.
2. Slow-Acting in Soil
Basalt meal acts slowly and is not easily washed out by rain, making it difficult to over-fertilize. It is beneficial to add basalt meal to planting holes before planting trees, ornamental shrubs, and fruit bushes.
In vegetable gardens, it's best to lightly incorporate basalt meal into the soil in the fall.
3. Soil Deacidification
Basalt meal slowly deacidifies soil. It is not recommended for acid-loving plants like blueberries. For other plants, basalt meal can be used.
4. Retains Nitrogen in Manure
Manure loses nitrogen the longer it is left uncovered. Sprinkling it with basalt meal reduces nitrogen loss and enriches it with other nutrients.
6. Increased Plant Resistance
Thanks to its high silica content, fertilizing with basalt meal strengthens plant resistance to fungal diseases such as gray mold, potato blight, and powdery mildew.
7. Seed Treatment
Seeds, e.g., radishes, cucumbers, tomatoes, can be mixed with basalt meal before sowing. This treatment protects seedlings from diseases and acts as a slow-release natural agent.

In an existing orchard/plantation. Spread the product on the soil surface in strips about 1 m wide along the rows of plants or individually around plants within a radius of **approximately 1.5 m**. Recommended dose **1.5-2 kg/10m2 (1.5-2 tons per hectare)**.
Vegetable Plants:
Apply in early spring or autumn before sowing or planting seedlings. Spread the product evenly on the soil at a dose of **1.5-2 kg per 10m2 (1.5-2.0 tons per hectare)**, then mix to a depth of **10-15cm**. Sow seeds or plant vegetable seedlings in the prepared soil. If the soil pH is low (pH 5.5), the dose can be **increased by 5-10%**.
Ornamental Plants (field cultivation, under cover cultivation, flower beds, green spaces, flower boxes, borders):
In spring, a few days before planting, evenly distribute **1.5-2 kg of the product per 10 m2** of prepared soil and mix to a depth of **5-10 cm**. Plant bedding plant seedlings in the prepared soil and water thoroughly after planting.
For perennial plants, apply in early spring at a **dose of up to 1.0 kg per 10 m2**. After application, mix with the top layer of soil and water thoroughly.
Lawns:
