• Almost zero. The sugar (sucrose) content is ~1-2g per bar (depending on taste), which is less than 3% of the product weight. For comparison: a typical chocolate bar has 25-35g of sugar (40-50% by weight). The sweet taste comes from polyol (maltitol, maltitol syrup) – sugar alcohols with a low glycemic index (IG 35 vs 100 for glucose).

Note: Polyols may cause gastrointestinal discomfort with excessive ingestion (>30g/day). Start with 1 bar per day.

Can I eat Zero Hero on a ketogenic diet?
