Economical version of the template for mounting furniture hinges – designed for quick and repeatable determination of guide mounting holes and hinge can screws. The perfect solution for routing and scoring without measuring every time.

The template is my original construction – designed for real carpentry work. It’s a simplified, cheaper version without steel guide sleeves — designed primarily for routing, scoring or light drilling.

What the template is for

The template allows you to quickly determine:

• holes for straight hinge guides
• holes for cross hinge guides
• Hinge can screw holes in the front
• Hinge position set perfectly at 90°

Designed for applied hinges in the dimensional standard of most manufacturers.

How it works

The template is inserted directly into the pre-drilled hinge can in the front.

Then the front is applied with the inserted template to the side of the body (lying on the mounting table) and you can immediately mark the mounting points.

You can mark:

• 3 mm drill bit
• point
• with a pencil or a thin marker

The holes and functions are readably described on the template.
