The device is used to bypass the SGW gate in compatible cars of the FCA concern.
Simply plug the Bypass adapter into the factory 12pin and 8 pin connectors of the SGW module.
The distribution of SGW is varied, there is no fixed place assigned but most often it is located in the side panel on the passenger side - near the clipboard or behind the radio. It can also be located on the back of the fuse box.
It is best to check this before buying, in the search engine : Vehicle model + SGW bypass.
Bypass can be permanently mounted without having to plug it in every time we want to make a diagnostic. Driving with the device installed is completely safe and does not affect the operation of other modules in the car.

Notes FCA group from approx. 2023r introduced SGW built into BCM (Body Computer) - e.g. An example of this is the Alfa Romeo Tonale.
The bypass offered is not compatible with these cars.
Before buying, you should check whether the copy physically has a separate SGW module that can be bypassed using Bypass.
