Car antenna amplifier from PER.PIC. Improves reception quality on all FM and AM frequencies. Suitable for any vehicle and car radio equipped with ISO plug and antenna socket. It is characterized by high signal gain, 12dB for FM range and 20dB for AM range and very easy installation. Blue cable from the amplifier power supply must be connected to +12V e.g. to the power output of the automatic antenna on the radio or to the cable on which the current appears after turning the ignition switch.

Note the amplifier does not transfer power from the radio to the antenna.

If the car is equipped with an antenna with a built-in amplifier, which is powered directly from the factory radio via an antenna cable, connecting the antenna amplifier will only worsen the signal. In this case, the power separator should be connected in front of the amplifier (from the antenna side), which will allow the antenna to work properly (powering the amplifier located in the antenna). Only in such a system will signal amplification be possible and there will be an improvement in reception.
