Sennheiser engineers have developed internal acoustics to achieve the neutrality characteristic of professional studio monitors. Thanks to the use of dual D2CA (Dual Two-Chamber Absorber) resonators, the headphones effectively eliminate frequency masking, thanks to which they reveal even the smallest details in recordings.

Stronger than steel

The IE 600 housing is made of amorphous metal – an advanced material with three times the hardness and bending resistance of high-grade steel. AMLOY-ZR01 alloy developed by Heraeus Amloy Technologies is used by m.in. in NASA structures where extreme strength is required.

The metal is printed in 3D zirconium powder technology, which allows you to create extremely precise and durable shapes. The satin surface of the housing is resistant to corrosion and scratches, so that the IE 600 will retain its appearance and functionality for decades.

The IE 600 production process combines precision automation with a masterful manual finish. Each housing is created layer by layer thanks to laser sintering technology. It then undergoes careful cleaning, polishing and surface treatment to achieve the perfect, lasting end result. The result? Despite their compact size, the IE 600 offers exceptional convenience. Gold-plated MMCX connectors are placed deep in the housing, which increases the stability and durability of the connection. The set includes two cables reinforced with para-aramide – symmetrical (4,4 mm) and asymmetrical (3,5 mm) – ensuring compatibility with a variety of audio sources.

The included silicone ear tips and shape memory foam, available in three sizes, guarantee a perfect fit and effective sound insulation. Adjustable ear hooks increase stability and comfort during long listening sessions.
