Configuration of transducers – 1 dynamic + 2 armature
The JH13 model uses a set of three transducers: one dynamic and two armature. A dedicated 10‑ mm dynamic driver is responsible for deep, powerful bass, while dual armature drivers significantly increase the resolution of high tones and add space to them. Thanks to a specially designed crossover, both types of drivers work together to create a clear, detailed and precise sound with double layering compared to headphones based solely on dynamic drivers.
Asymmetric magnetic circuits – lightning-fast response
JH13 is equipped with an asymmetric dual magnetic circuit system, similar to the solution used in FIIO FT3. Finite element simulations (FEMs) increased the magnetic field density in the coil gap. With a sensitivity of 110 dB/mW, the headphones are easy to control and offer great sound quality even from mobile devices. High efficiency ensures consistent sound with armature drivers, and fast response to signal changes allows for faithful reproduction of instruments and drums.
CCAW coil – clearer treble
The JH13 dynamic transducer uses a high-end CCAW (Copper‑Clad Aluminium Wire) coil manufactured by the Japanese company Daikoku. The core of the cable with a diameter of only 0,033 mm and the lightweight aluminum construction reduce the weight of the vibrating system, which translates into a faster impulse response. The result is clearer, more detailed treble, with a clearer sound of percussion instruments.
Zebrawood panel – classic character
The fronts of the headphones are made of real Zebrawood wood. Natural, intertwining light and dark stripes give them a classic, vintage look. Wood also provides high rigidity and durability of the structure.
Thoughtful design – comfort and reliability
The JH13 is equipped with a high purity oxygen-free copper (OFC) cable, built with 120 conductors in four bands. It is terminated with a 3,5 mm plug and 2‑pin 0,78 mm connectors, which makes it easy to connect to various audio devices. The shielded design protects delicate pins and ensures a stable connection. A specially designed cable routing system around the ear stabilizes the earpiece in the channel and distributes pressure evenly for comfort. The cable adapts to the shape of the ear, minimizing friction and eliminating the microphone effect.
Tuning – engaging and balanced sound
The precise combination of different types of drivers through physical, acoustic and electronic crossovers allowed to achieve a sound that combines strong bass with a retail treble. JH13 retains space and richness of harmonics in high tones while reducing sibilants in vocals. The result is an engaging, pleasant sound suitable for any genre of music.
