Content of active substances:

• sodium para-nitrophenolate (a compound from the group of nitrophenol derivatives) – 3 g/l (0,3%)
• sodium ortho-nitrophenolate (a compound from the group of nitrophenol derivatives) – 2 g/l (0,2%)
• Sodium 5-nitrogvajakolate (a compound from the group of nitrophenol derivatives) – 1 g/l (0,1%)

ASAHI SL is a growth regulator, in the form of a liquid for dilution with water. Asahi SL has an impact on higher yields and improved yield quality. The use of the agent is indicated in stressful conditions, unfavorable to plant growth, e.g. drought, frost and after planting or in case of damage to plants, e.g. plant protection products or fertilisers.

Asahi SL is a unique biostimulator based on three active substances from the group of nitrophenols naturally occurring in plants. Sprayed crops Asahi SL show better vegetative growth and generative development, higher biomass production. High yielding parameters are the result of better photosynthesis efficiency, correct water management in the plant and an increase in the content of organic ingredients.

A visible effect of Asahi SL is an increase in the yield and quality parameters of agricultural plants, fruit plants and vegetables grown in the ground and under cover.

Mechanism of action

Asahi SL has a unique mechanism of action. It has been thoroughly studied both at the level of the gene, cell and the whole plant.

After the treatment, the active molecules Asahi SL pass easily into plant cells, where they are metabolized to components naturally occurring in the plant. The action is visible at every organizational level of the plant, starting from biochemical and molecular processes occurring in plant cells, through physiological processes affecting individual organs, to the effects visible at the level of the entire plant.

Changes at the molecular level were confirmed by observing changes in gene expression (measured using a microarray). Among genes with altered expression under the influence of Asahi SL, the majority (>90%) showed elevated activity. These genes in the plant are responsible for plant growth and development, both vegetative and generative, photosynthesis, hormonal balance, transport and resistance to stress factors.

The Asahi SL treatment supports the plant in response to various types of abiotic stresses, such as low temperature, drought, excessive humidity, salinity, the presence of heavy metals, phytotoxicity of pesticides and fertilizers. By increasing the activity of antioxidant enzymes, Asahi SL contributes to the reduction of oxidative stress causing aging and cell breakdown.

Agricultural plants

Winter wheat
