The basis of the HD 600 transducer system is an acoustically neutral shell with an open housing that allows the free movement of each individual sound wave - the Sennheiser innovation, pioneering and perfected for the most natural personal listening experience. The sound coming out of our exclusive 42mm transducer is free of turbulence and distortion thanks to a special acoustic silk that controls the airflow - one of the best materials available for this task - while requiring manual assembly. Thanks to the use of ultra-light aluminum vibrating coils, the 38-millimeter diaphragm is characterized by a short resting and response time, which reflects every detail of the sound with surgical precision, and yet the headphones never sound sharp or excessive. Across the audible sound spectrum, this combination of transducer size and integrity provides a clear response that is honest to the source - the type of listening experience required for analytical detail absorption. The 300-ohm HD 600 impedance provides a uniform background that allows the nuances in your designs to resonate like never before. Each transducer is measured against rigid standards to achieve consistent performance across the entire frequency spectrum in both channels. By reducing discrepancies between the left and right channels, the headphones play mastering-grade sound regardless of room acoustics or speaker settings.

The HD 600 comes with a detachable, impedance-matched very low capacity cable. The ¼ inch/6,3 mm stereo connector offers a standard audiophile plug for connecting devices such as audio interfaces, headphone amplifiers and A/V receivers, digital audio players, analogue equipment and more. At 3 m long, it offers comfortable listening on equipment hidden deep on a shelf, studio or desk. The set includes a high-quality 6,3 mm to 3,5 mm adapter for connection to other audio devices.
