Irides is a new AGV open helmet made of thermoplastic material, approved by ECE2206, designed to guarantee protection and comfort in everyday urban travel. This helmet is characterized by a clean and modern design and extremely accurate details of the side walls. It is distinguished by an elongated viewfinder – synonymous with protection – with a magnetic closing mechanism VMS (Visor Magnetic System), ensuring maximum stability and comfort even at high speeds. The viewfinder adapted to the Pinlock® 70 anti-fog lens (available as an accessory) and the adjustable sunshade ensure optimal visibility in all conditions, both on sunny and cloudy days when a sudden change in temperature between the environment and the inside of the helmet can cause annoying evaporation. Thermal comfort inside the helmet is guaranteed by an adjustable upper ventilation opening and a rear lift, which facilitate the exchange of hot air inside the helmet with fresh air coming from the outside. The internal configuration of Irides ensures an optimal fit thanks to customizable options: cheek pads of different thicknesses are available, perfectly interchangeable for all helmet sizes, resulting in a total of 24 possible configurations. All interior elements, as well as the chin strap, can be completely removed and washed. Ideal for everyday outings around the city, Irides is a highly functional helmet: during your daily commute, features such as a micrometric closure, a theft protection ring – also useful for safe helmet storage – and compatibility with state-of-the-art communication systems are really essential.
