How to measure axle parameters?
1. Measure the thread pitch (you can find instructional videos on YouTube).
2. Measure the total length of the axis - along with the thread (as indicated in the figure on the right).
ATTENTION! Bicycle manufacturers in the catalogue usually specify the width of the hub, not the length of the axle. The width of the hub is not the same as the length of the axle!
On some axes there is a printed parameter of thread pitch and its length.
Before buying, measure the parameters of your axle accurately - an attempt to screw in the axle with a bad thread may result in irreversible damage to both the axle and the thread on the bike.
