The Saltiga SW series has been developed in collaboration with our experienced tropical fishing specialists Robert Balkow and Heiko Regner, and has been specially designed for use in extreme fishing conditions of hard-fighting and strong fish using poppers or stickbaits.

The use of the highest quality materials and components guarantees absolute reliability: Extremely durable HVF carbon fibre blanks with X45X technology are characterized by maximum rigidity and allow precise casting and well-controlled presentation of the lure – even for heavy poppers, jigs and stickbaits.

The Saltiga SW rod blank provides tremendous power and reserves to safely fight large fish and firmly keep them away from reefs and obstacles with extreme brake lock settings. Fast peak action provides impressive casting distances. The high-quality original Fuji SiC K guides are additionally wrapped under the frames to protect the blank and withstand even the heaviest loads and enormous pressure.

The exclusive Saltiga bottom provides maximum comfort during long fights. The Light Game models are also equipped with the exclusive Zero Seat reel seat – a benchmark in ergonomics and comfort.

Our testers were reluctant to put these rods away – they immediately fell in love with their characteristics when they easily towed tuna weighing 35kg. This rod, with a slightly softer tip, charges very well even with smaller 50g lures and allows you to cast long distances, while offering huge power reserves for casting even larger lures up to about 100g. The rod is extremely light and perfectly balanced in the hand and allows for all-day fishing without fatigue. Really top-of-the-line fishing rod for lighter stickbait and popper fishing in Panama, as well as for almost all fishing methods using medium-sized lures when hunting for tuna or mahi mahi fish, etc.
