Nokian Snowproof 1 205/55 R16 91 H FR winter tyres are designed to provide safe and comfortable driving in harsh conditions – on snow, ice, wet surfaces and generally at low temperatures (on average below 7°C). For this purpose, most winter tires have a directional tread (asymmetrical is used in models for more powerful cars) covered with a dense network of lamellas that bite into the snow making it easier to maintain control over the vehicle. The rubber compound of the Nokian Snowproof 1 winter tyres is adapted to low temperatures – it retains flexibility, which translates into good grip.
