Technology
Nokian WR Snowproof P winter car tires are made from a modern rubber compound designed for winter use. The purpose of the Snoowproof P tyre compound is to provide optimal grip in all conditions, even at very low temperatures. The Alpine Grip compound, enriched with a range of ingredients and additives, must maintain optimal flexibility, which translates into grip and a short braking distance. In addition, thanks to the use of modern technologies that reduced the weight of tires, rolling resistance and fuel consumption were reduced. A technologically advanced tread with a number of properly designed lamellas and blocks was used, providing the best grip on snow, wet surfaces or slush.
Tread
Nokian WR Snowproof P winter car tires have a symmetrical directional tread. The main element of the tread are deep grooves shaped into a directional pattern, as well as longitudinal grooves designed to remove water, snow and mud.
