❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Do I need a license to fly this drone? No. The KJ156 drone weighs only 145 g (including the battery). Regulations in most countries (including in Poland) exempt drones weighing less than 250 g from the obligation to have a pilot license. However, remember to use common sense and not to fly over crowds of people or in forbidden zones (e.g. at airports).

2. Does the drone have GPS and will it come back to me when it loses range? This model does not have a built-in GPS module. Instead, it uses optical positioning technology (Optical Flow), which fantastically stabilizes the drone in place (e.g. when taking pictures). It also has a one-button take-off and landing function. However, keep in mind that the drone will not return to you automatically after losing range – always keep it in sight (approx. 100 meters).

3. How long can I fly on a single charge? One fully charged battery allows for approx. 12-15 minutes of fun in optimal conditions. Since you get up to 3 such batteries in the set, your total time spent in the air is up to 45 minutes!

4. Do I need to connect my phone to the remote? There is no need! This is one of the biggest advantages of this set – the remote control has a built-in, large screen (12,5 cm), on which you can immediately see a live view from the drone camera. However, the phone and dedicated application will come in handy if you want to use additional, intelligent functions (e.g. drawing the flight route on the screen, taking photos with gestures or beauty filters).

5. Can the drone survive in the wind? The Drone is equipped with modern and powerful brushless motors that cope much better with air resistance than standard brush motors. Still, due to its very low weight (145 g), we recommend flying on windless days or with very gentle gusts. The drone is also great for flights in halls or in larger closed rooms.
