The Rampage Arpej microphone picks up sound from one direction, stands on its own arm close to the mouth and stops when the case is touched. Clear voice instead of the whole room

Arpej is a cardioid condenser microphone, so it hears best what is in front of it, and treats the rest of the room as a background. 48 kHz/16 bit sampling and a bandwidth of 50 Hz to 18 kHz cover the range of the human voice, and the 68 dB signal/noise ratio helps maintain a clear path even with quieter speaking. In practice, this means a voice that is understandable in voice chat without overclocking the amplification in the system.

Set it to your position

The microphone tilts in the holder, so you can easily position it so that it is directed straight at you. A well-aimed collects your voice, not what is going on behind your back. You do it once and you get back in the game. The set includes both an arm and a tripod to fit your station.

The arm that holds the microphone where it should be

Comes with an arm mounted to the edge of your desk, so you position the microphone with the arm close to your mouth rather than somewhere next to the monitor.
