Thanks to this, it is possible not only to measure body weight, but also: body fat, water in the body, percentage of muscle mass and bone mass, determination of BMI value and calorie demand (BMR). The large easy-to-read LCD display indicates body weight in one of three units: kilograms [kg], pounds [lb] or stones [st]. Medisana BS 444 automatically recognizes up to eight users - for each of them it remembers up to 30 measurements. In addition, it will inform us about the discharged battery, as well as about possible overload. The device is powered by four 1,5 V AAA batteries. The scale turns on and off automatically - shutdown occurs after 10 seconds of inactivity.

HOW DOES THE DIAGNOSTIC SCALE WORK?

These electrodes emit a very small electrical impulse that passes through our body. This signal is different, depending on whether it passes through: water, adipose tissue, or bones. When it returns, it is analyzed by sensors and weight software, which calculates the mass of body fat, bones and water in the body.
