Supreme string insert 20 microns for 10" bodies, S-PS20S

The mechanical cartridge for the water filter is made of polypropylene cord. The string was formed around the core in the shape of a cylindrical roller. Due to its characteristic structure, this type of cartridges is called string filters for water. S-PS20S water filters are used in cleaning water from mechanical dirt. Removes silt, sand, rust and other deposits in water up to the size of grains from 20 µm to 50 µm. Protects other, often more expensive elements of the filtration system. Extends their service life, prevents damage.

String inserts effectively protect home heating systems and household appliances. They are characterized by very high absorption of pollutants. They also improve the organoleptic parameters of water.

The string filter is used wherever we want the least possible drop in the pressure of filtered water. In this respect, string inserts will work better than foam water filters. This model is usually used in-line filters.

Construction and operation of the cartridge body with S-PS20S cartridge

The S-PS20S water filter has the shape of a cylindrical roller. Polypropylene cord is wound around the core. The S-PS20S filters water from the outside to the inside of its surface. Its density increases towards the filter core. Thanks to this, the filter life is extended to the maximum. The filter is made of polypropylene cord. The S-PS20S water filter is used in standard in-line water filters. Effectively protects other, usually more expensive elements of the filtration system.

How often should the S-PS20S string cartridge be replaced

Mechanical water filters are made of porous cord. They have a certain absorbency capacity. Filtered contaminants remain inside the filter structure. They are not rinsed out, so the absorbency of the filter decreases over time. The life of the cartridge depends on the type and amount of impurities. The operation of other water filters used in the system is also affected. With an average water consumption, this filter will last for up to 6 months. In the case of very dirty water, this service life may be shorter. In water filter kits with nanometers to measure pressure in a given place, it is easy to assess filter consumption. The consumption will be evidenced by a drop in pressure in the section of the installation after the water filter.
