The PATON 5-2 digital welding wire feeder is designed to work with an external welding source in MIG/MAG semi-automatic welding mode, where the source generates a welding current supply and the feeder ensures stable wire delivery to the welding site.

The feeder has its own engine power source, protective gas supply valve and control system. A characteristic feature of the PATON™ feeders is a very powerful, high-quality sealed metal wire feeding mechanism, as well as an integrated KZ-2 connector type “EURO”, which has become a standard in the world, allowing the user in the future to change the handle at his discretion. A protective gas supply valve is installed in the device.

Its adaptation is very simple and takes little time, because the design of the device already provides a matching place for connecting sockets and installing the source. If you already have a PATON welding machine by combining it with a feeder, you can get a migomat ready to work with MIG/MAG wire with a diameter of 0.6-1.0mm

⭐ Quality and precision

Few novice welders are aware of the fact that the right power and speed of wire feeding is one of the factors determining the quality of our welding in the MIG MAG method. With the highest quality Paton feeder, the wire will be fed perfectly, exactly as you set it.

During the operation of the feeder, its internal control system itself reads the signals coming from the KZ-2 socket transmitted by the button in the holder. At the right moment, it turns on the protective gas supply valve, after a predetermined delay, transmits the signal to turn on the power source, then turns on and stabilizes the speed of rotation of the wire feeder motor. Once the process is complete, all items are disabled in reverse order with the required delays. By default, all parameters are set to optimal.
