Prekė: Victron akumuliatorių balansyras 24V/48V. Kategorija: Baterijų įkrovikliai.
- Gamintojas: no brand
The battery equalizer equalizes the state of charge of two 12 V batteries connected in series or several parallel battery systems connected in series.
When the charging voltage of the 24 V battery rises to more than 27 V, the battery equalizer is switched on and the voltage in the two series of connected batteries is compared. The battery equalizer draws current of up to 1 A from the battery (or batteries connected in parallel) with the highest voltage. The resulting charging current difference will ensure that all batteries are adjusted to the same state of charge.
If necessary, several equalizers can be combined in parallel.
The 48-Volt battery pack can be aligned with three battery equalizers.

Problem: the service life of an expensive battery bank may be significantly reduced due to a state of charge imbalance
A slightly larger internal leakage current of one battery in a 24 V or 48 V bank consisting of several batteries connected in series/parallel will cause undercharging of this battery and other batteries connected in parallel and overcharging of batteries connected in series. In addition, when connecting new cells or batteries in series, they should have the same initial state of charge. Minor differences can be dealt with during absorption or equalisation charging, but large differences will cause damage due to excessive gas release (caused by overcharging) from batteries with a higher initial charge and due to sulphation (caused by insufficient charging) of batteries with a lower initial charge.
Solution: battery alignment
- The battery equalizer equalizes the state of charge of two 12 V batteries connected in series or several in parallel by connecting serial battery strings.
- When the 24V battery charging voltage rises to more than 27,3V, the battery equalizer starts by comparing the voltage in two
- series of connected batteries. The battery equalizer draws current up to 0,7 A from the battery (or connected batteries)
- in parallel) with the highest voltage. The resulting charging current difference ensures that the charge status of all batteries is adjusted to
- the same level.
- If necessary, several equalizers can be combined in parallel.
- The 48-Volt battery pack can be aligned with three battery equalizers.
LED
- Green: switch on (battery voltage > 27,3 V)
- Orange: active battery series from the negative cable side (deviation > 0,1 V)
- Orange: active battery series from the positive cable side (deviation > 0,1 V)
- Red: alarm (deviation > 0,2 V). This diode lights up until the deviation is reduced to < 0,14 V or until the voltage in the system is reduced to < 26,6 V.
Alarm relay
Opened in normal condition. It closes when the red LED lights up; it opens when the red LED goes out.
Reset alarm
A button can be attached to the two available terminals. Coupling the two terminals will reset the relay.
The reset state remains active until the alarm is complete. The relay will then close again when a new alarm occurs.
The BMV-702 monitor measures the midpoint of a sequence of cells or batteries and shows the deviation from the ideal midpoint expressed
in volts or percentages. Different deviation percentages can be set to trigger a visual/sound alarm and to
closure of potential-free relay contact as a remote alarm.
Further information on battery alignment can be found in the user manual of the BMV-702 monitor.
