Preparation - artificial ice Icemix is an anesthetic, intended for athletes, alleviating the effects of injuries, joint dislocations, muscle contusions and other injuries and used for cryogenic therapy. Rapidly reduces skin temperature, thus reducing the sensation of pain

Purpose:

Icemix works by relieving pain by rapidly lowering body temperature at the site of injury. It allows you to quickly undertake further physical activity, preventing the formation of hematomas and bruises. The product is without freon, contains natural essential oils to reduce the feeling of pain. It can be used in cryogenic therapy under medical supervision.

How to Use:

Do not use on damaged skin. Spray the injured area with a back-and-forth motion from a distance of 15-20 cm for no longer than 3-5 seconds, avoiding the formation of a white residue. You can repeat this after a 5-10 second break until the tissue is cooled. After each spray, check the skin temperature by touch. Do not use on open wounds or mucous membranes. Do not spray through fabric or clothing.

If the preparation is used incorrectly, frostbite may occur. The skin here begins to hurt and bake. Open wounds may be formed.

White raid – temperature 0 degrees Celsius. Too long exposure or too short a distance can lead to frostbite.

Ice mix can also be used indirectly e.g. Making a cold compress. It can be used in places where you can not directly spray ICE MIX due to the proximity of sensitive places (eyes, mucous membranes).

• Soak the gauze (material) with plain water or NaCL
• Squeeze so that it is moist but not dripping with water
• Spray the preparation from a short distance -freeze (watch your fingers! )

Such a prepared, cold compress can be used during nosebleeds. It should be placed on the neck of the victim and on the base of the nose.
