The X450 uses RTK technology and VisionFence to determine location, safely avoid obstacles, recognize lawn edges, and respond immediately to the presence of pets and household members. Segway Navimow intelligently plans the route, learning the layout of the garden and eliminating unnecessary trips, which translates into a better lawn appearance and shorter working time. Xero-Turn™ is an advanced turning system used in the Segway Navimow X450 mowing robot, which allows the device to perform very tight maneuvers without destroying the lawn. Unlike traditional mowing robots, which often slide their wheels and pull out turf when turning, Xero-Turn™ technology uses independent front wheel control and intelligent traction control. Thanks to this, the robot can rotate almost in place, maintaining a smooth ride and protecting the turf from the formation of ruts and “bald” pies.
