The boundary line placed in the grass delineates the mowing area, and also rewards any permanent obstacles located on the lawn. The cable creates a closed circuit – its beginning and end are placed in the charging station, which simultaneously powers the cable with a very low voltage and intensity – completely harmless to humans and animals, but detectable by robot sensors. Random and spiral cutting system for even greater mowing efficiency - the robot automatically selects the mowing path depending on the height of the grass and the load. The mowed grass is cut with almost surgical precision and then strongly shredded into small particles that are a natural fertilizer for the lawn. The robot knows when it is falling from strength. At this point, it automatically heads towards the charging station to charge the batteries. It does not require any user intervention, because it moves intuitively, according to the area of work programmed for it.
Random lawn cutting system
Based on its principle of operation “randomly”, the robot automatically mows the entire demarcated area of the lawn. The robot reaches and bounces at different angles from the wire that marks the boundary of the lawn. Installation of the robot in the garden
Before laying the perimeter cable, it is necessary to inspect the entire lawn surface. Estimate any changes that need to be made to the grass surface or precautions that need to be taken when laying the circuit cable for better robot functioning:
1. Preparation and demarcation of work zones. More information on the designation of zones is presented in the section below.
2. Installation of a circuit cable.
3. Installation of charging station and power supply.
4. Setting the robot work schedule.
Divide your lawn into zones
There are no two identical gardens. The garden can have either only one main lawn or consist of several smaller areas. For the NAC robotic mower, this is no problem! With the ability to divide the area into 6 mowing zones NAC RLM1800G2-T can handle any type of lawn with great ease. The need to introduce zones on your lawn can be dictated by its shape or the obstacles that are on it.
Designation of secondary zones
During the installation of the device, any secondary zones should be specified. Secondary zone is understood as a part of the lawn connected to the main lawn by means of a narrowing of the road, which is difficult to reach on the basis of accidental movement made by the robot. Access to the zone should be available without stairs and differences in levels exceeding the permissible sizes. Whether a zone is defined as a “secondary zone” also depends on the size of the primary zone. The larger the primary zone, the more difficult it is to reach narrow passages. In other words, the transition from 50 to 200 cm should be considered a secondary zone.

The presented autonomous mower has been equipped with two modern electric motors - one for each drive wheel. The technology used in the production of engines reduces to a minimum the need to service the equipment and significantly extends its service life. In addition, thanks to it, the robot works quieter and its motors use less energy to work. The device works about 50 minutes on a single charge, and after returning to the base, the full charge time is up to 90 minutes.
