The SJCAM SJ5000X Elite sports camera is an upgraded version of the previous generation model. It runs on the acclaimed and robust Novatek 96660 chipset, which was also used in the SJ4000Plus and SJ10Plus versions. The model can capture 4K (2880 x 2160) resolution at 24fps and 2K (2560 x 1440) while maintaining 30 frames per second. Full HD (1920 x 1080) video will be recorded at 60 frames per second. The SJ5000X Elite saves video in mp4 format.
The device is also equipped with a built-in Gyro Anti-Shake image stabilization system. In addition, the camera is equipped with a new Sony Exmor IMX078 image processor. The innovative solution also applies to the lens, whose functionality has been increased by adjusting the viewing angle.
