Technology

Nexen N’Blue HD Plus summer tyres are made of a special rubber compound, which is designed to reduce rolling resistance (due to lower tyre weight) and ensure good grip. The design of the tire has been optimized with a special carcass. Its task is to protect the tire from damage and deformation.

Tread

The Nexen N’Blue HD Plus summer tyres have an asymmetrical tread with three ribs on the front of the tyre and long grooves (for draining water) and wide pads in the shoulder zones. Tyre ribs and shoulders are characterized by high rigidity to ensure precision handling.

Manufacturer

Nexen is a car tire manufacturer based in South Korea. In 1956, Heungh-Ah started its operations in Kyongsang province, producing motorcycle tires under American license. In the early sixties, the production of car tires was launched. In 1968, the company changed its name to Woosung Tire. In the eighties, expansion into Asian markets began. Among other things, a joint venture was established with Michelin. In 1998, due to the crisis in the Korean automotive industry, Woosung collapsed. A year later, the manufacturer started its operations under the new name Nexen. The new business model has achieved a number of successes. Within a dozen or so years, Nexen has built new production plants, expanded its product range and started selling in many new markets.
