The tread depth is one of the most important parameters of the tyre. The regulations specify a minimum tread height of 1,6mm. Below this value, the use of tires is unacceptable.
However, we would like to point out that more and more new technologies and the composition of the rubber compound make it possible to make a tire with a shallower tread, while maintaining high durability of the product.
