Usage

Mobil 1 0W-20 is designed for modern, high-performance turbocharged gasoline engines of the American construction General Motors, Ford, Chrysler and Fiat and/or hybrid vehicles, as well as for Japanese and Korean vehicles that require SAE 0W-20 viscosity class and any specification for which this oil is suitable. Mobil 1 0W-20 meets the requirements of hybrid applications for which it is highly recommended.

• The Mobil 1 0W-20 has been field tested in a Toyota Prius taxi operated daily over a distance of up to 160 000 km. Periodic monitoring of the oil condition and engine inspections have shown that Mobil 1 0W-20 exhibits excellent resistance to thermal oxidation and shearing, leading to excellent engine protection against wear and deposit accumulation despite difficult operating conditions and accumulation of numerous stops and resumes.

• Mobil 1 0W-20 meets or exceeds the requirements of the industry resource consumption standard "API SP Resource Conserving", thus contributing to reducing fuel consumption by the engine and solving the problem of premature ignition at low engine speeds (LSP) and is therefore the preferred oil for smaller gasoline engines with direct injection and turbocharging.

• Mobil 1 0W-20 can be used when driving in many styles and conditions, from mild to difficult, where SAE 0W-20 or SAE 5W-20 engine oil is recommended. Not suitable for automotive engines designed to work with engine oils with higher viscosity.

• Mobil 1 0W-20 is not recommended for two-stroke or aircraft engines unless approved by the manufacturer.
