It has an ion-exchange resin tank with a 5 L capacity. You can connect the unit to your main water valve, water intake, or a specific appliance. The device has an LCD display panel. A lock function prevents accidental parameter changes. The ion-exchange resin bed is regenerated using salt, which needs to be refilled regularly. With a water hardness of 50 ppm, you'll need to refill the salt after every 800 L of water has passed through. The ion-exchange resin bed is regenerated in one of two ways: the volume mode starts regeneration after a specific amount of water has flowed through, while the time mode begins regeneration after a set number of days.
