The device has an efficient UpFlow bed regeneration system also called countercurrent regeneration. During brining, the solution is administered from the bottom up. At the bottom of the column is the largest amount of ion exchange resin with a small amount of water. The brine does not dilute, and its consumption occurs very slowly. The filter bed is regenerated from the most used surface.
