Washing machine softener filter cartridge 10" for water Aquafilter FCPRA-10N

Aquafilter FCPRA-10N anti-sediment cartridge filled with sodium polyphosphate – protects washing machines, dishwashers, boilers and heating systems from boiler stone without the use of salt or ionite. Polyphosphate does not remove calcium from water, but converts it into calcium phosphate, which does not settle on heaters and metal elements. Dedicated to POE (water entry point), exclusively for cold water not used for drinking.

FCPRA-10N anti-sediment cartridge (Aquafilter) – Protection of household appliances without salt and without ionite

Boiler stone destroys heaters, clogs valves and increases energy consumption — in Poland, where water hardness in many regions exceeds 20°dH, is a real problem. FCPRA-10N solves it differently than classic softeners: instead of removing calcium from water by ion exchange (which requires salt and regeneration), sodium polyphosphate reacts with calcium, magnesium, iron and manganese ions, transforming them into fine-grained calcium phosphate crystals. These crystals remain suspended in water and do not settle as hard stone on the installation elements.

What FCPRA-10N does not do — important: The cartridge does not soften water ion exchange and does not improve its taste. It is not suitable for filtration of drinking water – calcium phosphate is not absorbed by the human body, therefore the manufacturer strictly prohibits the use of this cartridge on drinking water installations.

What it protects against:

• Boiler stone on heaters of washing machines, dishwashers and water heaters
• Sediments on water system elements (pipes, valves, heads)
• Brown stains of iron and manganese
• Corrosion of metal elements in contact with water

Additional effect: Less consumption of washing powders and tablets — softened water increases the effectiveness of detergents.

When to exchange:

• FCPRA-10N — every 3 to 6 months (depending on water hardness and flow)

Service rules: With very hard water (above 25°dH), stick to the 3-month interval — the polyphosphate deposit depletes faster at higher concentrations of calcium ions. Install only on the cold water system, in front of the device (washing machine, dishwasher, boiler) — never on the drinking water system.

Indications that it is time for replacement: return of white deposits on heaters · decrease in flow through the cartridge · visible depletion of the polyphosphate deposit
