AQUAPHOR droplet tester for water hardness testing

Branded droplet tester used to quickly measure the hardness of general water at home and in the field.

The offered AQUAPHOR water hardness tester enables measurement with an accuracy of 1°dH (German grade) or, if necessary, even with an accuracy of 0,5 °dH

AQUAPHOR droplet tester will be useful for:

• starting water softeners when introducing initial settings (measured before the softener)
• control of the correctness of water softeners (measured after the softener)
• setting the water hardness in coffee machines
• setting the water hardness in washing machines and dishwashers
• control of water hardness in the building installation
• control of water hardness used in aquaristics

AQUAPHOR droplet tester - content

The contents of the set contain all the elements that allow you to independently measure the hardness of the water along with an unambiguous interpretation of the result. The set includes:

• measuring reagent in the amount of 15 ml placed in a plastic package
• measuring vessel with a stopper to prevent reagent and water from escaping during measurement
• instructions for measurement in Polish with the scale of water hardness groups included
• protective packaging of the kit

The amount of reagent of 15 ml allows you to make a dozen measurements for water hardness approx. 20 °dH (number of tests depends on water hardness)

AQUAPHOR droplet tester - test procedure

Testing the hardness of water with the AQUAPHOR droplet tester is very simple and does not require much time. In order to measure the hardness of water, you must:

• rinse the measuring vessel 2-3 times with test water
• pour the amount of water tested appropriate for the expected measurement accuracy (guidelines in the instructions included in the kit)
• add reagent drops with mixing of contents
• the number of drops added to change colour to green corresponds to the hardness of water in German degrees with an accuracy of 1°dH or 0,5°dH

• 0-7 °dH - soft water
