Prekė: Vandens filtro kasetė DAFI CLASSIC, 10 vnt., po 150 l. Kategorija: Įdėklai.
- Gamintojas: Dafi
- Modelis: Classic
contains a properly selected and systematically controlled filter mixture consisting of activated carbon and ion exchange resin. Thanks to this, the filter significantly reduces the hardness of water (causing the formation of scale deposits on the heating elements of the kettle, iron or coffee maker), the content of heavy metals, chlorine compounds and other undesirable substances that can affect the taste of tap water. The filter does not demineralize water. Thanks to it, tap water becomes ideal for drinking, brewing and cooking. Water filtered through the Dafi Standard filter is an alternative to bottled water.
Performance of 1 filter: 30 days or approx. 100-150 l of water (depending on its quality)
On this listing, you buy 10 filters, that is, a 10 month supply.
Matching filter jug: type Classic
The Dafi filter also fits jugs from other manufacturers:
- Brita Classic*
- ARO*
- Tip*
- Laica*
- Zelmer
* Registered Trademarks
Do not risk buying filters for water of unknown origin. Always pay attention to the label and the country of origin marked on it. Choose high-quality produced in Poland filters Dafi – designed to improve the quality of tap water.
The filter flood contained in the Dafi filters consists of activated carbon and ion exchange resin.
- Activated carbon acts as a sponge – absorbs i.a. chlorine and its derivatives, detergents or pesticides and organic pollutants. It is a carbon similar to the one we buy at the pharmacy in case of food poisoning. It is a natural substance obtained most often from burning coconut shells. Carbon removes unpleasant odor from the water and improves its taste. In addition, it is impregnated with silver – this protects the inside of the cartridge against the development of microorganisms.
- Ion-exchange resin removes excess salts causing water hardness, which is the cause of limescale deposition in household appliances. Some resins have the ability to enrich water with minerals, as in the case of Dafi Mg+ and Dafi pH+ filters.
- time and strength - you do not have to carry water packs from the store
- money - a liter of filtered water costs only 5 gr
- places - a small filter provides about 150-200 l of water per month, which corresponds to 100-130 one and a half liter plastic bottles
- environment - drinking filtered tap water is an environmentally friendly solution, due to the reduction of PET waste.

- What is a filter jug used for? The filter jug is used to clean tap water, which has undergone a preliminary treatment process by the water supply plant. Thanks to the use of a filter jug, tap water becomes ideal for drinking and cooking, as it gains better quality. In addition, the filter prevents the formation of boiler stone in the kettle.
- How should I filter my water? Before each time you insert a new filter, wash the individual elements of the jug with warm water with the addition of a mild detergent. Then put them back together. Place the replaceable filter in the tap water jug tank, finally gently pressing it down. Put the cover on. Before using each replaceable filter for the first time, filter the tap water twice with it (this is to vent the filter and remove micro particles of activated carbon that may escape from it). You can use this water for example. for watering flowers. Finally, set a filter replacement reminder.
- What is the expiry date of the replacement filters? The expiry date of each filter is stated on the packaging. After unpacking, its suitability for use is one month, regardless of the amount of filtered water.
- Can filtered water be drunk directly without boiling? Yes, adults can satisfy their thirst with tap water, filtered in a Dafi jug, which is safe, clean and tasty. The water that flows in the tap meets the strict standards of the European Union and the Minister of Health, which is why – as not everyone knows – sometimes it is not inferior to some bottled waters. If you suffer from certain diseases or allergies or are on a diet, consult your doctor before applying water filters.
- Can filtered water be given to children and infants? According to the opinion of the Institute of Mother and Child, filtered water is safe and recommended for consumption and preparation of meals for children over 1 year of age, after boiling it. Tap water differs in the content of minerals and other elements depending on the source and area from which it comes. According to the standards of nutrition of infants up to 1 year of age, water administered for drinking and preparing meals should have an unchanged composition regardless of the water intake, it should be chemically and bacteriologically clean. In addition, until the age of 1, any water should be boiled for the child – both filtered, tap and bottled.
- How often should I change the filter? Each jug type filter should be replaced 30 days after it is unpacked and put into the jug.
- Can a replacement filter be used for more than one month if we rarely filter water? If the filter is replaced with a delay of several days, this does not significantly reduce the quality of filtered water. However, for optimal parameters of water intended for consumption, the filter should be replaced after a month. The carbon contained in it, which removes chlorine and organic impurities, is impregnated with a normative amount of silver, which guarantees the sterility of the filter for a month. Also, the limited amount of resin contained in the filter, responsible for removing the hardness of water, after this time begins to lose its properties.
- What is the difference between Classic and Unimax filters? These filters differ in performance. The Unimax filter contains more filter bed, which translates into the ability to filter from 150 to 200 l of water. Okay, so. 50 liters more than the Classic filter. The Unimax filter is recommended for higher water consumption, e.g. because of the large family. Both filters have the same shelf life, which is one month from unpacking and first use.
- After opening the film, are water drops visible? Water droplets are the result of sterilization of filters with steam at 100°C. This steam condenses so that the inside of the filter remains moist – this is beneficial for maintaining optimal filter mixture parameters.
- Small black particles appeared in the jug after the first use. Are they dangerous? This is a natural phenomenon. These particles are activated carbon molecules that are part of the filter mixture. These molecules do not have a negative impact on health. Granulated carbon is made from coconut shells. Like any product of natural origin, coconut shells are characterized by natural variability of structure. Eventually, detached, small particles of activated carbon can get through with filtered water to the bottom of the jug. The carbon molecules in the filter are responsible for removing chemical contaminants. The carbon used in filters is similar to that consumed during food poisoning.
- How long can we keep filtered water? The time from the moment of filtering the water to its use is important for the quality of filtered water and should not be longer than 12 hours. After this time, water should be poured out (e.g. water the flowers) and refill the filter jug. During a break in use, the jug with the filter should be stored in a cool, unsunny place or in the refrigerator.
- What to do if the filter does not allow water to pass through? It happens that the filter mixture improperly arranges in the filter, this causes a slowed flow of water or even its retention, then the filter should be shaken vigorously.
- Do filters completely remove minerals from tap water? During the filtration process, tap water is purified from substances that worsen its smell, taste and color. Only an excess of these salts, which are responsible for the formation of boiler stone in the cooking process, is removed. In addition, the filter stops mechanical impurities: sand, rust and fine suspensions. Filtered water cannot be compared with distilled water, which is completely demineralized and is not intended for drinking. Sodium and potassium are still contained in the tap water. Dafi MG+ and PH+ filters additionally mineralize water.
