They reduce the carbonate hardness of drinking water, significantly reducing the risk of limescale deposits in the connected device.
They also bind metal ions such as lead or copper. The filter reduces substances that interfere with taste and aroma (for example, chlorine residues) both in filtered water and in bypass water.
Typical application areas for PURITY C filter cartridges include coffee makers, vending machines, ovens and convection and steam ovens.
