It is a UV water sterilizer for specific applications that fall within the limits of the above flows, it can be e.g. UV sterilization of water for low flow tap e.g. from a three-phase filter (osmosis) or other low-flow applications.

Definitely, this is not a lamp that can sterilize the entire house (with installation at the entrance of the water intake to the house), both due to the power and the size of the connections.

The 6W UV lamp is also suitable for ponds and larger aquariums.

PZH certificate - UV sterilizer Nordic Tec 6W has a certificate allowing for use with drinking water

Certification PZH, i.e. Hygienic Certificate, means legal approval for use with drinking water and guarantees that the product does not contain harmful materials. All elements including steel, gaskets, glass have been tested and approved for use. PZH certificate in accordance with Polish law is required in the case of products intended for contact with drinking water.

➡ Unfortunately, most of the UV filters offered by the competition do not have this certification, despite legal requirements in this regard.

IMPORTANT OPERATION / INSTALLATION TIPS UV lamps

Read it to avoid damaging the filament!

• When installing, avoid touching the filament glass with your fingers (this can cause it to burn out quickly).
• Before installation, clean the filament and menzurka, preferably using an alcohol wipe. If this action is abandoned, the filament can burn out much faster.
• Do not turn on the filament when it is outside the reaction chamber. He's threatening eye damage. In order to check the filament operation, you can use diode signaling on the transformer or check gently whether a bluish color light comes out through the holes (without looking directly at them).
• Before the UV sterilizer, it is recommended to use any mechanical filter to prevent particulate matter from entering the chamber.
