Before installing the filter, soak it in water. Hold it upside down until it soaks up water and starts to sink.
After installing the filter, you may notice gray and cloudy water. This is a natural phenomenon caused by activated carbon molecules. Rinse the filter with water and the color will disappear.
If you do not use the filter for 2 weeks, be sure to replace it with a new one before brewing coffee.
