1 . FCPS5 foam cartridge (sedimentary)

• Action: Deep filtration of mechanical impurities – stops sand, silt, rusty deposits and larger solid particles.
• Where: As a rule, mounted as a first stage, against carbon cartridges to protect further stages of filtration.
• Replacement: every 3 to 6 months*

2 . Activated carbon cartridge (granules) GAC10 WodaRO

• Action: Water clarification – reduction of chlorine, aromas and odors, organic deposits.
• Where: Second stage – pre-purifies the water, leaving it clean and taste neutral.
• Replacement: every 3 to 6 months*

3 . FCBL10 carbon block cartridge WodaRO

❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

1. How often do I change cartridges?

We recommend every 3 to 6 months*, depending on water quality, pressure and temperature. Higher water pollution or higher temperatures accelerate the consumption of cartridges.

2. Does the filter require electrical power?

No – the system operates passively, using pressure in the water system.

3. Can I install it myself?

Yes – the set includes all accessories (key, screws, plate, tape), and the assembly is described step by step at the point below, we also add a detailed instruction manual to the set.

4. Does the filter lower the water pressure?

Yes, minimally - the pressure drop (0,1 to 0,3 bar) still provides effective filtration without losing the comfort of use.

5. Are the cartridges suitable for water temperatures up to 45 °C?

Yes – all components are adapted to work in the range of 1 to 45 °C.

6. Can I replace the filter cartridges with others in the future?

Yes, the bodies are universal and fit most standard 10" inch cartridges (the most popular)

1️⃣ Preparation Before Installation

1.1. Check Kit Contents

• 3 × filter housings with pre-connected heads (in one frame)
• 1 × mounting plate
• 1 × assembly wrench
• 6 × O-rings (seals) in the heads, pre-installed
• 3 × filter cartridges
• 12 screws for attaching the plate to the heads

1.2. Tools and Additional Materials (Not Included)

• Drill with a ø6 mm drill bit
• ø6 mm wall plugs
• Phillips screwdriver (PH2)
• Technical petroleum jelly
• 3/4" male pipe fittings for water connections
• Teflon tape or thread seal tape for pipe fitting threads
• Optional: adjustable wrench or open-end wrench for metal fittings

1.3. Prepare Filter Cartridges

1. Remove each cartridge from its plastic packaging.
2. Place the cartridges in a clean container of water and submerge for 30 minutes.
3. After this time, gently remove them and allow excess water to drain.

Note: Soaking prevents air bubbles and improves filtration efficiency.

2️⃣. Choose and Prepare Installation Location

1. Select Location

   Behind the main water shut-off valve.

   In an area with easy access for maintenance and cartridge replacement.

2. Ensure at least 10 cm of clear space above and below the filter frame.
3. Close the water shut-off valve and relieve pressure by opening the nearest faucet after the filter.

3️⃣. Install Mounting Plate and Filter Housing Frame

1. Position the mounting plate under the three-head frame, ensuring it is level.
2. Mark the mounting holes corresponding to the holes on the plate.
3. Drill the holes and insert the wall plugs.
4. Secure the plate to the wall using the wall plugs.
5. Hang the filter housing frame onto the plate by hooking the top profile of the frame.

4️⃣ Install Water Connections

Note: The filter housing kit has 3/4" female pipe threads (GW) for inlet and outlet. The customer must provide 3/4" male pipe fittings (GZ).

1. Select 3/4" male pipe fittings (GZ) that match the 3/4" female threads (GW) on the filter heads.
2. Wrap the male threads (GZ) with Teflon tape (several wraps).
3. Screw the male fittings (GZ) into the female threads (GW) of the filter heads:

   The side marked with an IN arrow – water inlet from the system.

   The side marked OUT – water outlet after filtration.

4. Tighten the fittings with an adjustable wrench until snug.
5. Connect the water supply pipes to the installed fittings, ensuring all connections are sealed.

5️⃣ Install Filter Cartridges

Reminder: Cartridges should have already been soaked for 30 minutes.

1. Unscrew each filter housing.
2. Check that the O-ring is in place.
3. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the O-ring.
4. Insert the cartridges into the housing in the following order:

   Mechanical (foam)

   Granular Activated Carbon Cartridge

   Activated Carbon Block

5. Ensure each cartridge is seated vertically.
6. Screw the housing back on: by hand or with the wrench until slight resistance is felt.

6️⃣ Startup and Leak Test

1. Slowly open the main water supply valve (1/4 turn).
2. Observe the system for 2–3 minutes:

   If you notice any leaks, slightly tighten the affected housing or fitting.

3. Once you confirm there are no leaks, open the valve completely.

7️⃣ Flushing and Putting into Use

1. Open the nearest faucet after the filter and flush the cartridges for 5–10 minutes.
2. Check the stability of the installation and seals.
3. Record the installation date on the housing label – this will help in planning cartridge replacements.
