Fast filtration thanks to pressure technology

Traditional filter jugs mainly use gravitational flow. AQUAPHOR J.Shmidt produces pressure through an electronic pump that supports the filtration process.

This allows the use of a larger amount of efficient filter materials, as in advanced undercounter systems, while maintaining the mobility of the device.

Hygienic work and protection of the mechanism

The pump creates air pressure instead of passing water through its internal mechanism.

Thanks to this:

Microfiltration

The fibrous membrane with 0,1 micron pores helps remove chlorine-resistant bacteria and cysts.

Sorption

Active coconut carbon and patented AQUALEN™ microfilters help reduce organic compounds and heavy metals such as lead, mercury and copper.

Softening

Ion-exchange resin helps reduce limescale buildup.

One cartridge provides up to 500 litres of filtered water or up to 6 months of use.

Additional barrier to undesirable microorganisms

Capillary membrane with very small pores is a physical filter barrier.

It helps retain chlorine-resistant bacteria and cysts, providing a higher level of filtration than standard pitchers using only gravity filtration.
