1 . FCPS5 foam cartridge (sedimentary)

• Action: Deep filtration of mechanical impurities – stops sand, silt, rusty deposits and larger solid particles.
• Where: As a rule, mounted as a first stage, against carbon cartridges to protect further stages of filtration.
• Replacement: every 3 to 6 months*

2 . Activated carbon cartridge (granules) GAC10 WodaRO

• Action: Water clarification – reduction of chlorine, aromas and odors, organic deposits.
• Where: Second stage – pre-purifies the water, leaving it clean and taste neutral.
• Replacement: every 3 to 6 months*

3 . FCBL10 carbon block cartridge WodaRO

• Action: Adsorption of chlorine, pesticides and most organic compounds, heavy metals; significant improvement in the taste and smell of water.

❓ FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. How often do I replace water filter cartridges?

We recommend replacing every 3-6 months*, depending on water quality, pressure and temperature. Higher water pollution or higher temperatures accelerate the consumption of cartridges.

2. Does the filter require electrical power?

No. The flow filter works passively, using pressure in the water system.

3. Can I install the filter myself?

Yes - the kit includes mounting accessories, and the assembly is described step by step at the point below. We also provide a detailed instruction manual for the set.

4. Does the filter lower the water pressure?

Yes, minimally - the pressure drop (0,1 to 0,3 bar) still provides effective filtration without losing the comfort of use.

5. Are the cartridges suitable for water temperatures up to 45°C?

Yes – all components are adapted to work in the range of 1-45°C.

6. Can other 10″ filter cartridges be used?

Yes. The bodies are universal and fit most standard 10″ cartridges.

1 Preparation before assembly

1.1. Checking the contents of the set

• 3 × filter body with pre-connected heads (in one frame)
• 1 × mounting plate
• 1 × mounting key
• 6 × O-rings (gaskets) in heads, pre-installed
• 3 × filter cartridges
• 12 pieces of screws to screw the plate to the heads

1.2. Tools and additional materials (outside the set)

• drill with drill ø6 mm
• dowels ø6 mm
• Phillips screwdriver (PH2)
• technical petroleum jelly
• 1″ GZ water connection
• Teflon tape or Teflon thread for securing connection threads
• optionally adjustable or flat wrench for metal connections

1.3. Preparation of contributions

1. Remove each cartridge from the foil packaging.
2. Place the cartridges in a clean container with water and soak for 30 minutes.
3. After this time, remove gently, let excess water drain.

Note: Soaking prevents air bubbles and improves filtration efficiency.

2 Selection and preparation of the installation site

1. Choose a location:

• behind the main water shut-off valve,
• in a space with easy access to handle and replace cartridges.

1. Keep a minimum of 10 cm of free space under and above the filter frame.
2. Close the shut-off valve of the water supply and drop the pressure by unscrewing the nearest tap after the filter.

3 Mounting plate and body frame assembly

1. Apply the mounting plate under the frame of the three heads, leveling.
2. Mark the mounting holes corresponding to the holes in the tile.
3. Drill holes, insert dowels.
4. Screw the tile to the wall with pegs.
5. Hang the body frame on the tile by hooking the top profile of the frame.

4 Installation of water connections

Note: The body set has 1″ GW internal threads at the input and output. The customer must select external GZ connectors.

1. Choose 1″ GZ connectors that fit 1″ GW threads in the heads.
2. Wrap GZ threads with Teflon tape (several turns).
3. Screw GZ connectors to GW threads heads:

Page marked with the IN arrow – water supply from the installation.

Page marked OUT – water output after filtration.

1. Tighten the fasteners with an adjustable wrench to feel the resistance.
2. Connect the water system wires to the mounted connectors, sealing the connections.

5 Installation of filter cartridges

Reminder: Cartridges should already be soaked for 30 minutes.

1. Unscrew each body.
2. Check if the O-ring is in place.
3. Apply a layer of petroleum jelly to the O-ring.
4. Insert the cartridges into the body in order:

Mechanical (foam)

Granulated activated carbon cartridge

Active carbon block

1. Make sure each cartridge is mounted vertically.
2. Spin the body by hand or with a wrench to feel a slight resistance.

6 Commissioning and leak test

1. Slowly open the main water supply valve (1/4 turn).
2. Observe the set for 2 to 3 minutes.

If you notice leaks, tighten the appropriate body or connection minimally.

1. After making sure of tightness, open the valve completely.

7 Rinsing and putting into service

1. Open the nearest faucet behind the filter and rinse the cartridges for 5 to 10 minutes.
2. Check the stability of the assembly and gaskets.
3. Write the installation date on the body label – this will make it easier to plan the replacement of cartridges.
