The powerful formula effectively removes any residue from coffee, fats, and oils that can cause the coffee to taste bitter. The tablets are ideal for cleaning brewing block, valves and thin tubes. Regular use of two-phase cleaning tablets improves the taste of the coffee prepared in the machine and extends the life of the device itself.
How to use cleaning tablets:
Automatic Expresses (with cleaning program):
Put one cleaning tablet in the coffee maker, in the indicated in the instructions place and use the cleaning program.
If the device does not have a programmed cleaning cycle, but has a container for ground coffee, put one tablet into the container for ground coffee and set the cup under the spout.
Then:
- Press the button corresponding to brewing from ground coffee
- After filling half a cup, turn off the device for 5 minutes so that the solution works inside the device
- Re-enable the device to complete the cycle
- Repeat this cycle at least 3 additional times to rinse the device, but do not add more tablets (to make sure that the entire cleaning solution has flowed out of the device)
- Remove the ground coffee container and rinse it thoroughly with clean water
- Before reusing the machine, brew two cups of coffee by pressing the button corresponding to brewing from ground coffee
Cleaning drip trays:
- Place the cleaning tablet inside the tray and fill it up to 2/3 with hot water
- leave the cleaning solution for about 30 minutes, then rinse the tray thoroughly
