The compact and handy handle design allows for precise control of the boat, while also allowing you to easily adjust the motor speed by turning the handle left or right.

Battery charge indicator

The battery indicator light (located on the front cover) provides current information about the state of charge of the battery. The light lights up when it is connected to the battery and stays on throughout the period when the motor is connected to the battery.

Tips for use:

Boat electric motors for optimal operation need power from good quality and suitable for working on water battery. Years of experience in the fishing industry have allowed us to select the best types of batteries for such work. First of all, we recommend using GEL and LiFePO4 batteries to power the ZEFIR 75 engine. For smaller funds, you can also use a good quality AGM battery, but it will be characterized by lower efficiency and faster wear when working with an electric motor for a boat.

During the flow, constantly control the voltage level of the battery and try not to allow the battery to discharge too deeply. No battery can stand this condition well. GEL and LiFePO4 batteries retain their efficiency for the longest time with frequent discharge to a deeper level.

Before connecting the battery to the motor, make sure that the control bar is in the “zero” position and the screw is above the water surface. Check that the power cords are not damaged. After connecting the battery, do not start the engine until the motor screw is back under the surface of the water.

Connect the battery according to polarity (red “plus” cable and black “minus” cable). After connecting the battery, start the motor with a button on the head and check the operation of the motor by gently turning the cap of the control rod clockwise
