The VIOFO A119 MINI 2 car camera is a refreshed and retrofitted model of the A119MINI. The camera has changed the image sensor to SONY STARVIS 2 IMX675 increasing the resolution of the recording and improving the quality of HDR recordings. A novelty is also the ability to control camera functions using voice commands in English, this allows you to take photos, start recording, secure recordings, turn on/off WIFI, turn on/off the microphone, turn on/off the screen. VIOFO has greatly refined its latest model, equipping it with all possible amenities, the entire camera can be controlled from the position of the phone (free application VIOFO for iOS and Android), we can view the recordings made and rip them to the phone.
The VIOFO brand used an active buffered parking mode in the A119 MINI 2 camera.
Active mode allows for maintenance-free operation and automatic switching to driving mode or parking mode.
How is the event detected?
Both the G-Sensor and the motion recognition function can detect the event and activate the recording.
The G-Sensor detects shocks or vibrations to protect the current rebuke. The motion detection function responds when it detects the movement of objects moving in the field of view of the camera lens.
What are the advantages of parking mode?
This function was created in response to user demand. This solution allows you to quickly find a key recording, without having to search through all the video footage recorded during a stopover.

In the A119 MINI 2 camera, the GPS module was installed in a well-known way (from other VIOFO models) in the active mounting bracket. Thanks to this solution, we do not have to install an external GPS module, and in addition, an active mounting bracket allows for easy and quick removal of the camera from the holder.
Thanks to the GPS module, geographical coordinates and speed can be added to each recording (the ability to disable this function in the menu).
When playing recordings made with the GPS module, we also have the option of using the DASHCAMVIEWER program to recreate the passage of the vehicle along with tracking the route on the map.
The A119 MINI 2 camera has a powerful WIFI module operating in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, which provides data transfer at 4 times faster speeds compared to the 2.4GHz WIFI standard. The camera can be controlled using a dedicated application VIOFO, which is free for Android and iOS. The application was prepared in Polish.
In the application, we can change the camera settings, we can view and play recordings and rip them to the phone.
The button allows you to manually protect recordings from overwriting.
In the A119MINI 2, the "night vision" function has been highly optimized. An image sensor with larger pixels provides greater ability to receive light at the same illumination, and 2K HDR technology balances extremely bright and dark areas to accurately reproduce details recorded in 2K during the night.
The first VIOFO car recorder equipped with voice control function, the A119MINI 2 allows you to take photos, start recording, secure recordings, turn on/off WIFI, turn on/off the microphone, turn on/off the screen with simple voice commands in English. You no longer have to move your finger and look away while driving.
The A119MINI 2 supports multiple languages and clearly informs you about settings changes or memory penalty errors so you can focus fully on the road.
The A119 MINI 2 is mounted with a GPS mount to the glass using a 3M sticker, the back with the 3M sticker itself. This method of installation ensures a very stable mount and largely reduces the amount of space occupied by the camera on the front and rear windows.
In addition, the set includes 2pcs of electrostatic films, which can be fixed between the glass and the camera holder. Such installation using electrostatic films will facilitate the subsequent disassembly of the camera.
